quite和very修飾形容詞有何區(qū)別？用法有什么不一樣？其實quite 和very 都是副詞，very 還能作形容詞和名詞，但quite只有副詞屬性 作為副詞，從釋義上看，“很”“”“完全”，可能感覺不到明顯的差別。那么如何看待quite+形容詞和very+形容詞這兩種表達的區(qū)別呢?

　　一般情況下，從程度，情感態(tài)度和語氣上

　　quite 弱， very 強

　　用excited 作例，通過翻譯感知下

　　They were quite excited about moving to a new place.

　　搬新家了他們有點興奮。

　　quite excited = a little excited

　　They were very excited about moving to a new place.

　　搬新家了他們級(炒雞)興奮。

　　very + excited = totally excited

　　有一般情況就有特殊，在口語中，如果quite跟一個non-gradable形容詞, 怎么理解, non-gradable, 即：不能分級，不能比較，非黑即白，非對即錯，這種類型的形容詞，比如“錯”和“對”，這類形容詞。

　　She was quite right.

　　她完全正確。

　　注意：very不能修飾這些“形容詞”比如：

　　very right (x) 錯誤滴

　　可以修飾“形容詞”的副詞有： absolutely, completely, really and totally

　　absolutely right (√) 正確滴

　　總結：

　　一般quite加形容詞，可理解為，適度的，有點

　　a little, moderately but not very, totally or completely

　　但quite+形容詞時，quite 表強調(diào)，，很，級，跟very 意義又一樣了。

　　注意：

　　quite還有其他一些用法，quite +名詞，表強調(diào)

　　It makes quite a difference when the wind isn’t blowing.

　　不刮風又是果真不一樣(又是另一番樣子)。
